Case presentation

A 17 year old boy presented with a three month history of swelling near his knee, and recent onset of moderate pain. He was otherwise hale and hearty.

Radiological findings:
Bone scan showed significant uptake at the site of the lesion in the fibula, with no other abnormalities. Laboratory exam was unremarkable.
Differential Diagnosis
The differential diagnosis should include osteosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, and infection.
