Case of the Month       April, 1999

The imaging studies show an aggressive lesion. Complete work up showed multiple nodules in the lungs.   Aggressive lesions include malignant bone tumors and some benign lesions.   The differential should include osteosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, primary lymphoma, osteoblastoma, infection, and eosinophilic granuloma.   Click here if you want to review the criteria that are used to determine if a lesion is aggressive or not.
