What's New? The web site has an all-new interface! Welcome to the all-new "look and feel" of the bonetumor.org site. These enhancements are intended to make it easier for users to go directly to the information they want. Since this is a purely self-supported effort, we cannot afford to pay salaries for programmers and webmasters. As this site developed over time, our command of web programming techniques has also increased. As a result, the new site is built on the bones of the old site, which means it still has some pages that are poorly implemented or slow to load. This site is the #1 site of its kind with more than 6000 "hits" per day. Thanks for your support. A special section on Foot Tumors is now partially available. The section on minimally invasive treatments has been expanded. The information on glomus tumor has been expanded. The sections on osteopoikilosis, melorheostosis, and pathologic fracture risk assessment have been expanded or added. Nine new cases have been added to the Case of the Month section these are cases seen at the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna, Italy Soon I hope to provide a small portion of the site in multiple languages so non-english users can benefit. I am proud to be able to say that the site reaches the global community of physicians and patients. The site author gets emails from all over the world, including cases sent for consultation from Siberia, Mongolia, Shanghai, and Bangladesh. Thanks for stopping by!
