Answer to October 1998 Case of the month.

The patient presented with a pathologic fracture of her left clavicle at the site of  the eosinophilc granuloma, which was a unifocal lesion.  Treatment consisted of curettage of the lesion and protection of the fracture with sling and swath following the operative procedure.
