Case of the Month Rizzoli Case 8 An 11 year old boy had pain in the left shoulder. A left proximal humeral lesion was noted on plain radiographs and CT images. [Xray] [MRI] [CT1] [CT2]
A biopsy followed by curettage and packing of the lesion with methylmethacrylate cement was carried out. [Xray] The microscopic appearance of the tissue is shown. [Path1]
One year later he again complained of pain, and a repeat CT was performed. [CT4] [CT5].
